YouTube Live Not Enabled: What It Means

YouTube says live streaming is not enabled on your channel. Here is how to turn it on and start streaming from Streamdzy.

The short answer

Turn on live streaming in YouTube Studio for your channel, which can take some time to activate. Once it is on, copy the stream key again and go live from Streamdzy.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Open the platform’s live or creator settings and copy the stream key and address it shows.
  2. In Streamdzy, open Settings, Go live, add the place once, and paste the key.
  3. Connect a camera or a phone, then run a short private test and listen to the sound.
  4. Tick the places for the show and press Go live. Keep the key private.

What to know first

Platform menus change. If a name has moved, search the platform’s own help for “stream key”. Each key is kept encrypted on your PC.
