A crew on their own devices
Give each person a role on their own phone or tablet. The host runs the show, a director cuts and styles, camera operators handle their own camera, and a monitor just watches.
The four roles
- Host: everything, including going live and stream keys.
- Director: scenes, cuts between cameras, looks, effects, replay, text and alerts. Cannot go live or touch stream keys.
- Camera operator: their own camera only (focus, exposure, look, framing) and mark a moment. They see a red frame when their camera is on air.
- Monitor: sees the picture, chat and who is on air, and changes nothing.
Anything a role is not allowed to do is refused on your PC, not just hidden on the screen.
Easy to add
In Streamdzy press Connect, then Add a helper and choose Director or Monitor. The helper scans a code; no accounts to create. A camera phone becomes a camera operator or a camera plus remote with one dropdown.
Talkback
Short text messages to the directors, all cameras, everyone, or one numbered camera, with quick buttons (“Stand by”, “Go”, “Zoom in”, “Hold still”). They arrive on the phone with a buzz. A sender is limited to a few messages every few seconds so nobody can flood the crew.
From another city
A director can sign in at fuidzy.com/stream-design from any browser and cut the show remotely.
Questions
Can a director go live or see my stream keys?
No. Going live, stream keys, relays and automations are host-only, and the PC refuses them from any other role.
Do crew members need an account?
No. They scan a code you show on your PC.
Does talkback carry voice?
Not yet; it is text. Voice talkback is planned.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
