Free online screen recorder
Record your whole screen, a window or a tab, with your voice, and save the video. It runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded, there is no watermark and no time limit.

Your browser will ask which screen, window or tab to share.
How to record your screen
- Choose the quality and whether to include your microphone and sound.
- Press Start recording, then pick the screen, window or tab in your browser’s picker. Tick “Share audio” there to capture sound.
- Press Stop when you are done, check the preview, and save the file.
Tips for a good recording
- To capture sound from a tab, choose “Chrome Tab” and tick “Also share tab audio”. Capturing all system sound works on Windows in Chrome and Edge, and not on Mac.
- 1080p is plenty for tutorials. Use 720p for long recordings to keep the file small.
- Recordings are WebM or MP4 depending on your browser. Both play in VLC and most editors.
When to use the app instead
A browser recorder is perfect for a quick capture. For a game, a long session, several cameras, or recording while you stream, Streamdzy records the finished show and each source separately, safely in segments, with no browser limits.
Questions
Is there a time limit or watermark?
No. This tool adds no watermark and has no time limit, but very long recordings are held in your browser’s memory: for sessions over an hour use the Streamdzy app.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. It is recorded and saved on your device only.
Why is there no sound from my computer?
Browsers only share system sound in some cases. Share a Chrome tab with “Also share tab audio” ticked, or use Streamdzy, which can capture PC sound directly.
Doing this a lot? Get the app.
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
