Streamdzy vs Restream

Restream is a cloud service that takes one stream and sends it to many platforms, plus a browser studio. Streamdzy does the sending from your own PC, so there is no service in the middle to pay for.

Pick Streamdzy if…

  • You want to multistream without paying every month for the pipe
  • You want local, full-quality recording of everything
  • You want phone cameras and a remote crew
  • You want it free without a logo

Pick Restream if…

  • You stream from a device that cannot run Streamdzy and need a cloud service to fan out one RTMP stream (use Streamdzy’s relay, or Restream)
  • You need many destinations on a weak upload (a cloud service uploads once, and so does Streamdzy with a relay)

Questions

Can Streamdzy replace Restream?

For most creators, yes: it sends to many platforms itself. With a relay your PC uploads once and a relay on your own free Cloudflare account feeds every platform.

Why is it so much cheaper?

Restream carries your video on its servers, which costs money per stream. Streamdzy’s servers only carry sign-in and the buttons you press.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
