Multistream to many platforms at once

Encode your show once, send it to every place your audience is. If one platform has a bad moment, the others and your recording carry on.

How it works

You add each platform once under Settings, Go live: pick Twitch, YouTube, Kick or Facebook (or “Other” for any RTMP server), paste the stream key, save. Tick the ones you want on, and press Go live. Streamdzy encodes your picture once and sends the same stream to each place, so your PC works about as hard as for a single stream.

Stream keys are kept encrypted on your PC and are never sent to our servers.

If one platform drops

Each destination runs on its own. If YouTube drops, Twitch and your recording keep going and the app reconnects by itself. Destinations are isolated from each other, which we test by killing one mid-stream while another keeps receiving.

What it costs your internet

Because the video is encoded once and then sent to every platform from your PC, your upload has to carry one copy per platform. Two places at 6 Mbps is about 12 Mbps of upload. The bitrate calculator does the sum for your line, and the app lowers the bitrate instead of freezing if your upload gets tight.

If you want the server to feed every platform so your PC uploads only once, the Record first mode does that through a free relay on your own Cloudflare account.

How many places

As many as your upload can carry: every place needs its own copy of your picture unless you use a relay. Every feature is included; what is counted is use, in credits.

Questions

Can I stream to Twitch and YouTube at the same time?

Yes. Add both under Settings, Go live, turn both on and press Go live. There is no limit on places; your upload is the limit.

Does multistreaming need a lot of upload?

One copy per platform leaves your PC, so total upload is roughly the bitrate times the number of platforms. Use the bitrate calculator to check your line.

Does it use a restreaming service?

No. Your PC sends straight to each platform. Nothing is restreamed through our servers.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
