Why Your Stream Key Keeps Changing
If your stream key changes often, the platform may have reset it. Learn why that happens and how to paste the new one.
The short answer
Platforms reset keys when they are shared or on request. Copy the current key from the platform and paste it into Streamdzy each time it changes.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Open the platform’s live or creator settings and copy the stream key and address it shows.
- In Streamdzy, open Settings, Go live, add the place once, and paste the key.
- Connect a camera or a phone, then run a short private test and listen to the sound.
- Tick the places for the show and press Go live. Keep the key private.
What to know first
Platform menus change. If a name has moved, search the platform’s own help for “stream key”. Each key is kept encrypted on your PC.
