Recording
Mark Moments While You Record
Mark a moment while you record so you can find it again later, with a label you choose and a log kept with the file.
The short answer
Press Mark when something happens, and it is saved in the session log. Find the marks later to go straight to the moment.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Choose what to record: the whole show, one camera, or the screen. The choice is under Recordings.
- Press Record. The finished show and each camera are saved as their own files, written in pieces so a crash loses seconds.
- Press Mark at a moment you want to find again. The log keeps those marks next to the files.
- Press Stop. The session folder opens with the show, the cameras, your voice and the log.
What to know first
Recordings use your PC’s disk: a long 4K session needs a lot of free space, and Streamdzy stops a recording when the disk is nearly full. Check what your computer can do with the PC test.
Questions
Can I name a mark?
Yes. Give each mark a label, and it is kept in the log next to the recording.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
