Lower Thirds Explained for Live Shows
What a lower third is in Streamdzy, how it slides in for a name or a title, and how to show it with one press.
The short answer
A lower third is a bar at the bottom of the picture that slides in with a name or title. You type the words and press to show it for a few seconds.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Find the feature in the app under Settings, or in the scene and go-live controls.
- Turn it on, test it with a short private stream or a test recording, and check the result on your own screen.
- Save the setup as a scene or a preset, so you can switch to it with one press next time.
- Use the pricing page to see how use is counted: every feature is free, and one credit covers 24 hours.
What to know first
Features depend on your PC, your cameras and your connection. The Health check shows what your computer can run before you go live.
Questions
Can I set how long it stays?
It slides in for eight seconds at the press of a button, then slides out.
