Alerts Explained: Follows, Subs, Raids and Tips on Stream

How alerts work in Streamdzy: the cards, the sound, the test button and the donations read aloud, explained in depth.

The short answer

An alert is a card with an optional chime that appears when a follow, sub, cheer, raid or tip arrives. You can test each one before the show and turn on the read-aloud option for donations.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Find the feature in the app under Settings, or in the scene and go-live controls.
  2. Turn it on, test it with a short private stream or a test recording, and check the result on your own screen.
  3. Save the setup as a scene or a preset, so you can switch to it with one press next time.
  4. Use the pricing page to see how use is counted: every feature is free, and one credit covers 24 hours.

What to know first

Features depend on your PC, your cameras and your connection. The Health check shows what your computer can run before you go live.

Questions

Do alerts need an overlay website?

No. Alerts are built into the app.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
