Scene Shows a Black Box
A source in the scene is black: check the source is connected, the right window is chosen and it is not minimised.
The short answer
Check the source is connected and chosen in the scene. For a window, make sure it is not minimised. Refresh the source and check the picture.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Find the problem in the list, and try the first step only.
- Check it again with a short test, before you go live or record.
- If it still happens, run the Health check and the upload speed test, and note what they show.
- Update Streamdzy from Settings, Updates, if the problem is one we have fixed in a newer version.
What to know first
Some problems come from the PC, the network or the platform rather than the app. Streamdzy’s checks show which one it is; a connection that is down cannot be fixed by the app.

Why is one source black but another fine?
Usually the window is minimised or the camera is off. Check that source alone.
