Recording File Will Not Play: How to Fix It
A recording will not open or play: check the file type, convert it to MP4, and recover an unfinished session if the PC stopped.
The short answer
Convert the session to MP4 from Streamdzy, which keeps the original. If the session was not finished, start Streamdzy and let it repair the file on the next start.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Find the problem in the list, and try the first step only.
- Check it again with a short test, before you go live or record.
- If it still happens, run the Health check and the upload speed test, and note what they show.
- Update Streamdzy from Settings, Updates, if the problem is one we have fixed in a newer version.
