How to Fix a Stream That Is Too Quiet

Raise a quiet stream: move closer to the microphone, set the level in the meter and check the game sound is not too loud.

The short answer

Get closer to the mic, watch the meter and aim for strong but not full peaks. Lower the game sound a little so your voice sits above it.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Open Connections and the Health check. They show what your PC and network can carry before you go live.
  2. Choose a picture quality that the check and the upload test agree on. A steady stream beats a sharp one that stalls.
  3. Turn on Record first so your recording is never missing a moment, and viewers see a smooth stream behind it.
  4. Keep the Lifeline on. When the connection weakens, the stream steps down to a smaller picture instead of freezing.

What to know first

Results depend on your PC and your connection. Streamdzy’s safety systems cover the most common failures, but no app can fix a connection that is down. Run the upload speed test to see your line first.

Questions

What level should my voice be?

Strong on the meter, without hitting the top. Test with a short recording.
