Recording Too Large to Share: What to Do
A recording is too big to send or upload: convert it to a smaller file or share it through a service that takes large files.
The short answer
Convert the recording to MP4 at a smaller quality for sharing, and keep the original on your PC. Large files can be shared through a cloud drive or the platform you upload to.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Find the problem in the list, and try the first step only.
- Check it again with a short test, before you go live or record.
- If it still happens, run the Health check and the upload speed test, and note what they show.
- Update Streamdzy from Settings, Updates, if the problem is one we have fixed in a newer version.
What to know first
Some problems come from the PC, the network or the platform rather than the app. Streamdzy’s checks show which one it is; a connection that is down cannot be fixed by the app.
