Stream Lag Fix Checklist
A short checklist for a laggy stream: the picture quality, the upload, the PC’s load and the delay setting, in the order to check them.
The short answer
Check the upload speed, lower the picture quality to match it, close heavy programs, and check the Health check result. If lag continues, try record first so viewers get a smooth picture.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

What causes lag on a stream?
Usually the upload is too slow for the picture quality, or the PC is busy with the game. Lag on your own screen and lag for viewers have different causes.
