Settings
Lifeline Setting Explained
The lifeline steps the stream down to a smaller picture when your connection weakens, and back up when it recovers.
The short answer
The lifeline is on by default. It keeps the stream going on a weak line with a smaller picture and voice, then steps back up. Turn it off to keep one picture quality at all times.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Open Settings in Streamdzy and find the screen for the setting.
- Change one setting, then check the picture or sound in a short test.
- Use the Health check to see whether your PC keeps the change.
- Save the arrangement as a scene, so the setting is ready for the next show.
What to know first
Settings depend on your PC, your cameras and your connection. The Health check and the upload test show what each one can carry.
Questions
Should I keep it on?
Yes for most streams. Turn it off only if you need one fixed picture.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
