Record a Stream on a Laptop
Record your show on a laptop at full quality, with the laptop plugged in and a picture quality it can keep.
The short answer
Plug the laptop in, pick a picture quality your PC keeps, and press Record. The file is saved on the laptop’s disk.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Choose what to record: the whole show, one camera, or the screen. The choice is under Recordings.
- Press Record. The finished show and each camera are saved as their own files, written in pieces so a crash loses seconds.
- Press Mark at a moment you want to find again. The log keeps those marks next to the files.
- Press Stop. The session folder opens with the show, the cameras, your voice and the log.
What to know first
Recordings use your PC’s disk: a long 4K session needs a lot of free space, and Streamdzy stops a recording when the disk is nearly full. Check what your computer can do with the PC test.
