Features explained
Talkback Explained: Talking to Your Crew Live
Talkback in depth: who hears it, how messages reach directors, cameras or one camera, and what viewers never hear.
The short answer
Talkback sends a message to the people you choose during the show. Viewers do not hear it unless you send your microphone to the stream.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Find the feature in the app under Settings, or in the scene and go-live controls.
- Turn it on, test it with a short private stream or a test recording, and check the result on your own screen.
- Save the setup as a scene or a preset, so you can switch to it with one press next time.
- Use the pricing page to see how use is counted: every feature is free, and one credit covers 24 hours.
What to know first
Features depend on your PC, your cameras and your connection. The Health check shows what your computer can run before you go live.
Questions
Can I send to one camera only?
Yes, by its number, or to directors, cameras or everyone.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
