Twitch Says Your Stream Is Unhealthy

Twitch warns that your stream is unhealthy: lower the quality, check the upload and keep the connection steady.

The short answer

Lower the picture quality to what your upload test shows, close heavy programs, and check the connection. The lifeline and record first help keep the stream steady while you fix it.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Find the problem in the list, and try the first step only.
  2. Check it again with a short test, before you go live or record.
  3. If it still happens, run the Health check and the upload speed test, and note what they show.
  4. Update Streamdzy from Settings, Updates, if the problem is one we have fixed in a newer version.

What to know first

Some problems come from the PC, the network or the platform rather than the app. Streamdzy’s checks show which one it is; a connection that is down cannot be fixed by the app.

Questions

Will the warning go away?

Once the stream is steady for a while it usually clears.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
