Stream countdown timer

Set the time and the look, then copy the link into a browser source in Streamdzy, OBS or any streaming app. It shows only the numbers on a clear background.

Add it to your stream

  1. Press Copy link.
  2. In Streamdzy add a web page layer to your Starting soon scene, or in OBS add a Browser source, and paste the link.
  3. Set the source size to your canvas size (for example 1920 by 1080). The background is clear, so it sits on top of your picture or slate.

Good to know

  • The timer starts when the source is loaded. Reload or switch the scene to start it again.
  • The link holds all the settings, so you can keep several for different shows.
  • It runs in the source itself: nothing is sent anywhere.

A starting-soon screen that works for you

Streamdzy has Starting soon, Be right back and Ending screens built in, which also keep your stream alive if your connection drops. See Record first.

Questions

Does it work in OBS?

Yes. Add a Browser source and paste the link. Any app that can show a web page as a source works.

Can I make the background a picture?

Put your picture or video in a layer below the timer. The timer background is clear.
