Add Instant Replay to a Live Stream
Replay the last seconds of play in slow motion on stream, and keep the replay in the recording, with the replay button on the app or your phone.
The short answer
Press the replay button and the last few seconds play back in slow motion on the stream. The replay is also saved in the recording, so you can find it later.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
How far back can a replay go?
Instant replay covers the last few seconds, and saving a clip keeps the last 30 seconds of the picture.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
