Stream With a Co-Host
Share a live stream with a co-host who can cut the show or join with a camera, without giving them your stream key.
The short answer
Give your co-host a crew role from the crew settings. They can join with a camera or cut the show, and your stream key never leaves your PC.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Does my co-host need my stream key?
No. Crew links give a role for the show, and the key stays on your PC.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
