Stream a Talk Show With Guests

Host a live talk show with guests on their own cameras and a crew that cuts between them, streamed to several places from one PC.

The short answer

Guests join from a phone or another PC, each one becomes a camera, and a director cuts the show. The finished show is streamed and recorded on your PC.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
  2. Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
  3. Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
  4. Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.

What to know first

Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Questions

Can guests join from their own computers?

Guests can join with a phone as a camera. Joining with another PC depends on your setup; the phone route is the one we test most.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
