Stream a School Class Live From a Classroom PC
Teach a live class from a classroom PC with the board on camera, your face in the corner and a recording for students who miss it.
The short answer
Point a camera at the board, add your face as a second camera, and go live to the platform your school uses. Record the class so students can watch it again.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Can students watch a recording afterwards?
The recording is saved on the PC. Share the file through your school’s own system; Streamdzy does not host it for you.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
