Stream Drawing and Art Live With a Camera

Live stream drawing or painting with a top-down camera on the paper and your face in the corner. Chat sees the work as it happens.

The short answer

Point a camera down at the table, add your face as a second camera, and cut between them when you need a closer look. Recording keeps the whole piece for a time-lapse later.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
  2. Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
  3. Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
  4. Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.

What to know first

Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Questions

Can I show the drawing from above?

Yes. A camera pointed down at the table works like any other camera in the scene. Add a phone on a stand if you have no spare webcam.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
