Stream a Conference Talk Live From Your Laptop

Stream a talk or a presentation from a laptop: your slides, your camera in the corner and a name bar, with the recording kept on the laptop.

The short answer

Capture the slides window, add your camera in a corner, and add a name bar with your name and title. Recording keeps the talk in case the stream drops.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
  2. Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
  3. Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
  4. Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.

What to know first

Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Questions

Can I show my slides and my face at once?

Yes. Put the slides in the main picture and your camera in a corner, or swap them with one press.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
