How to Live Stream a Church Service With Streamdzy
Live stream a church or chapel service from a PC: a steady camera, a name bar for the speaker, and a recording kept for the congregation.
The short answer
Set one wide camera for the service and a close camera for the speaker, add text layers for readings, and go live to your platform. Record the whole service on the same PC.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Do I need expensive equipment to stream a service?
No. A webcam or a phone on a tripod, a clean sound feed, and a PC are enough to start. Add cameras when the service needs them.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
