Stream a Radio Show With Video
Turn a radio or talk show into a video stream with a camera on the host, name bars for guests and a recording of each show.
The short answer
Put a camera on the host and on guests, add name bars, and go live for listeners who watch. Record each show for the archive.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Do I need the radio station’s sound feed?
Sound from your station is taken from your audio setup, not from Streamdzy. Streamdzy takes the picture and sends the stream.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
