Stream a Live Cooking Class
Teach a cooking class live with an overhead camera, a close-up of the pan and a recording for students, all from one PC.
The short answer
Put the overhead camera and the close-up in one scene, cut between them, and record the class. Students follow the steps and can come back to the recording.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Can students see the recipe on screen?
Yes. A text layer can show the ingredients or steps while you cook.
