Schedule When Your Stream Starts
Plan the time you go live, with a starting soon screen that runs until you press the show, so the stream is ready when you are.
The short answer
Put a starting soon scene up before the planned time with a countdown, then press Go live and the show scene when the time comes. Streamdzy does not start by itself; you press the button.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.
Questions
Does Streamdzy go live on its own at a set time?
You press Go live yourself, and the starting soon screen covers the wait until you do. Automations you set up can also act on a live show.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
