Free Streaming Software for Beginners on Windows

Free streaming software for a first stream on Windows: one window for your camera, scenes, chat and go-live button, with no setup maze.

The short answer

Streamdzy is built for a first stream: connect your camera, pick a scene, add your platform, and press Go live. The controls are in plain words, and the built-in setup can pick a camera and microphone for you.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
  2. Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
  3. Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
  4. Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.

What to know first

Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Questions

Is it hard to learn if I have never streamed?

Most people go live the same evening. Start with one camera and one platform, then add scenes, alerts and more places when you want them.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
