Broadcast an Esports Tournament

Run a small esports tournament broadcast: several game captures, a scene for each match, name bars for players and a recording of every game.

The short answer

Set up a scene for each match with the game capture, cameras for the players and name bars. Switch between matches with a press, and record every game for the replay.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
  2. Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
  3. Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
  4. Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.

What to know first

Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Questions

Can I show more than one game feed?

Yes. Add each game capture as a source and cut between them, or show them side by side.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
