Add a Countdown Timer Before Going Live
Show a countdown timer on your starting soon screen, so viewers know when the show begins and you know when to press Go live.
The short answer
Use the countdown extension on the starting soon scene and set the time you go live. It counts down on the stream and on your phone, and you press the show scene when it ends.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Add each platform once under Settings, Go live and paste its stream key. The key is kept encrypted on your PC.
- Tick the places you want on and press Go live. Your PC encodes the show once and sends it to each one.
- Watch the scene, the chat and the connection in one window. Press a scene or an alert whenever you need it.
- Press Stop when you are done. The recording of the whole show is already saved on your PC.
What to know first
Your upload speed is the real limit: every place needs its own copy of your picture. The installer is for Windows; Mac and Linux builds are not published yet. Run the upload speed test before a long show.

Can I start the countdown from my phone?
Yes. The countdown has its controls on the phone remote as well as in the app.
