Record Gameplay at 60 Frames a Second

Record gameplay at 60 frames a second for smooth motion, with the quality your PC keeps and the file saved on your disk.

The short answer

Choose 60 frames a second in the recording settings. The file keeps the smooth motion, if your PC keeps up.

How to do it in Streamdzy

  1. Choose what to record: the whole screen, one window, a browser tab, or a camera. The choice is under Recordings.
  2. Turn on your microphone if you want your voice. It is saved on its own track.
  3. Press Record, and use Mark at the moments you want to find again.
  4. Press Stop. The session folder holds the finished file, each source, and the log of marks.

What to know first

Recordings use your PC’s disk, so check the free space before a long session. For calls and meetings, get everyone’s agreement before you record. Other people’s rules still apply.

Questions

Why does my 60 fps file look choppy?

Your PC may be too busy. Lower the quality or close other programs.
