Gear
Keyboard for Streaming Shortcuts
A keyboard with easy-to-reach keys helps you switch scenes during a show. Set your shortcuts to keys that suit your hand.
The short answer
Choose keys that reach easily from your game or your desk. Set your shortcuts under Shortcuts in Streamdzy so the scene switch is one press.
How to do it in Streamdzy
- Start with the camera and microphone you already own, and test them in Streamdzy with a short recording.
- Add one piece of gear at a time, and check the change in the picture or the sound before buying the next.
- Use the webcam test and the microphone test to measure what you have, before you spend money.
- Use the Health check to see whether your PC can handle the extra camera.
What to know first
Gear advice is general. Prices and models change. Streamdzy works with any camera or microphone your PC or phone can use.
Questions
Do I need a special keyboard?
No. Set the shortcuts on the keys you already use.
Want all of this in one app?
Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
