Start streaming in five minutes

You do not need a guide with forty steps. Here is the short path from nothing to live.

Minute 1: install

Download Streamdzy and run the installer. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway (the app is new and not signed yet).

Minute 2: camera and microphone

Press Set everything up for me. Streamdzy picks the best camera that really delivers a picture, a microphone and a good look, ready to record. Or press Connect and scan the code to use your phone as the camera.

Minute 3: add your platform

Open Settings, Go live, pick Twitch, YouTube, Kick or Facebook, paste your stream key (found in the platform’s dashboard) and save. Your key stays encrypted on your PC.

Minute 4: check

Look at the picture, speak and watch the microphone meter move. Press Look to try a flattering look, or leave it as is.

Minute 5: record, then go live

Press Record so you keep a copy, then Go live. When you finish, press Stop. Your recording is in your Videos folder.

Then, when you want more

Add a second camera, a name bar, alerts, or a director. None of it is needed to start.

Questions

Do I need a good computer?

A recent PC with a hardware encoder (NVIDIA, Intel or AMD graphics) streams 1080p comfortably. Older PCs can stream 720p.

Where do I find my stream key?

In your platform’s dashboard under stream settings. Never share it.

Want all of this in one app?

Streamdzy is a free streaming and recording app for Windows: several cameras, your phone as a camera, going live to many places at once, and recording first so a bad connection never costs you the show.
