Fuidzy vs ClickUp: one app to replace them all, versus one screen

ClickUp's explicit pitch is to replace every app you use, and it very nearly can — docs, tasks, goals, whiteboards, chat, time tracking, all in one. Ours is the exact opposite bet: that the reason your system keeps collapsing is that there's too much of it.

What ClickUp is genuinely great at

Breadth and a remarkably generous free tier — Free Forever has no user cap at all, with unlimited tasks and the core views, constrained mainly by 100MB of storage and 100 automation runs a month. Paid is $7 per user per month annually ($10 monthly) for Unlimited, $12 ($19 monthly) for Business.

If you have a team that genuinely needs fifteen view types, ClickUp gives them to you for less than the competition.

Where it falls down

Surface area. Every feature exists because a real customer asked, and each is individually justified — but the sum is a product with a settings tree deep enough to get lost in. For one person planning Tuesday, that's a lot of machinery, and the configuring tends to become the hobby.

How Fuidzy is different

There is essentially nothing to configure. No view types to choose between, no custom statuses to design, no automations to build. The constraint is deliberate: an app you can't fiddle with is an app that can't absorb the afternoon you meant to spend working.

The verdict

Use ClickUp if you're running a team with real process and want maximum capability per seat.

Use Fuidzy if you've bounced off exactly that kind of tool before and suspect the problem was the size of it.

Fuidzy is a free timeline planner. No install, no setup, no credit card.
