What Google Calendar is genuinely great at
Being the shared source of truth the entire world already uses. Invitations, availability, time zones, recurring meetings — solved, free, universal. No small app is going to replace that and shouldn't try.
Where it falls down
A calendar shows commitments to other people. It's poor at personal work, because putting "write the report" in a calendar slot feels like lying — you know you'll move it, and moving it repeatedly makes the calendar untrustworthy for the meetings that actually matter.
So most people end up with a clean calendar of meetings and a separate, messier list of everything they actually have to do. That gap is the problem.
How Fuidzy is different
We're built for exactly the stuff you don't want polluting your meeting calendar: personal work, habits, focus blocks, the things that move around. Dragging a block here doesn't send anyone a notification or make you look flaky.
Keep Google Calendar for anything involving other people.
Add Fuidzy for the hours between the meetings, which is where most work actually lives.
