Mac storage cleaner

Mac cleanup that shows you what's safe to remove.

Many Mac cleaners are subscriptions that scare you with big numbers. SpaceWise is a $12.99 one-time license with a free scan: it maps your storage, labels each item Safe, Check first or Never, and moves what you choose to the Trash.

7-day free trial · 30-day refund · then $12.99 once · uploads nothing

A safe Mac cleanup routine (free, by hand)

No registry tweaks, no "PC booster" tricks. Just clear, honest space recovery.

1

Empty the Trash and restart

A restart clears some temporary caches.

2

System Settings > General > Storage

Review Apple's recommendations, and delete old iPhone/iPad backups under Manage.

3

Clear Downloads

Sort by size; remove old installers and .dmg files.

4

Clear app caches carefully

Open ~/Library/Caches (Finder > Go > Go to Folder), and delete the contents of large folders, not the folders themselves.

5

Or let SpaceWise do the sorting

Every cache, log, Xcode and backup item ranked by size and labeled.

What's safe to clean on a Mac

SpaceWise labels all of this for you.

What it isTypical sizeSafe?

Why SpaceWise instead of another cleaner

It answers "can I delete this?"

Analyzers show a chart and leave you guessing. SpaceWise tells you what's safe, what to check, and what to leave alone.

Finds hidden space hogs

A dedicated Hidden files view lists the biggest hidden folders, the ones your file manager never shows you.

Built for developers and creators

Understands Gradle, npm, Xcode, emulators, AI model caches and more, the stuff that quietly eats 50+ GB.

Private by design

No account, no cloud, no tracking inside the app. It runs locally and only touches paths it showed you.

Trash first

Nothing is deleted for good. You can restore anything from the Trash.

No scare tactics

No fake "5,000 errors found", no registry cleaning, no "boost your PC" pop-ups.

Simple pricing

Try everything free for 7 days. Scanning stays free forever.

Download

Start the free trial first, buy only if it helps.

Download SpaceWise for Mac

New Mac release. Nothing to install: Python is bundled inside the app. Works on Apple-silicon and Intel Macs. Try it free for 7 days; if anything doesn't work on your Mac, email fuidzy@outlook.com and we'll fix it or refund you (30 days).

  1. Unzip the download (double-click the zip).
  2. Right-click SpaceWise.app → Open → Open. macOS asks only the first time, because the app is new and not notarized yet. (If it refuses: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.)
  3. Your browser opens SpaceWise. Click Scan my profile.
  4. For a full scan: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → click + → choose SpaceWise.app → turn it on, then scan again.
  5. The first Trash move asks permission to control Finder: click OK.
  6. Close the browser tab when done; SpaceWise quits by itself.

How you get your license: after you buy, your code arrives by email within a minute or two (check spam). Open SpaceWise, click Enter license code, paste it, done.

Questions people ask

Does a Mac cleanup make my Mac faster?

It frees storage, which helps most when the drive is nearly full. It isn't a speed booster, and SpaceWise doesn't claim to be one.

Is a Mac cleaner app safe?

Some are not. Look for tools that move items to the Trash, don't touch system folders and don't pressure you with fake warnings. SpaceWise does all three.

Is there a free Mac cleanup tool?

macOS has built-in Storage tools. SpaceWise scanning is free forever, with a 7-day free trial of cleaning.

Is SpaceWise safe?

It runs only on your computer and uploads nothing. It only moves items to the Trash, only touches paths it showed you, and blocks system and personal folders.

How much does SpaceWise cost?

The first 7 days are free with everything unlocked. After that scanning stays free and cleaning needs a license: $12.99 once, works on 2 devices, 30-day refund. Your license code is emailed to you right after you buy.

I bought it. Where is my license code?

It is emailed to the address you used at checkout, usually within a minute or two. Check spam. Then open SpaceWise, click Enter license code and paste it. Still nothing? Email fuidzy@outlook.com.
